Artist's Comments

Ok, after uploading my "Old Zombie" pic I decided that there's never enough zombies in any gallery so I just finished this. -If it sounds a little I'm too proud of this is only because a little part of me kinda, sorta IS- I'm glad how it came out considering I was not into it so much but hey... Zombies have a life of their own!

Please feel free to leave your comments. Thank you all! :)

Update on July 15- HER STORY

She hated that day.
The day of the Outbreak was the same day of her 20th birthday. A day she started by trying on the evening gown she had specially made to wear at her Birthday Bash that night. She tightly locked the huge doors of her bedroom and danced imagining the looks on everyone's faces at the meticulously planned party.
That was supposed to be her Big Day, her Greatest Night.
But suddenly she heard a roar outside the door, she almost recognized her father’s voice under the animalistic scream and she could hear how he was forcing his way in and the maids trying to reason with him only to have their heads smashed to the door so hard that a bloody pulp was passing through one of the seams.

She screamed and cried more out of anger than out of fear while her beloved puppy barked endlessly.
This was supposed to be her Big Day, her Greatest Night.

She heard the cries for help of her brothers, of the Butler, of every single living person on the house and she sat in front of her mirror. She wouldn’t open the doors. “They shall be punished”-she thought. “They all shall be punished for ruining my Big Day” and the day became the night.
The outside cries were replaced by inhuman moans of a handful of creatures that were once men.
She only sat by the mirror, combing her hair. She wouldn’t eat, she wouldn’t talk. This was supposed to be her Big Day, her Greatest Night.
She almost welcomed the silence among the fading moans when she picked up her still frightened puppy to lay in bed with him.
She wished to sleep. Sleep forever and dream of the Great party that was never to be.
Her pleasant dreams replaced by a rage that she hadn’t felt until that day.

The next morning she woke up in her locked room, wearing the same evening gown, a little more tattered and dirty than she remembered. A large pool of blood, entrails and fur lay on the pillow next to hers were her pet used to sleep and wake he her up with sweet puppy kisses.
She sat at the mirror again, not recognizing the remains of the face in it, but recognizing the same rage within the creature staring back, as her own.

She hated that day.
